Embellish Marketing Story

Learn how Embellish Marketing came to be.

Hi there! I'm Jaime (yes, i before m), founder and CEO of Embellish Marketing. I help women build and lead brands of all types: small businesses, non-profits, passion projects, you name it!

How did you get started with your business? My story is a little unconventional, and it has taken me awhile to come to grips with how Embellish Marketing began. No fairy tale here - one day I had a job, and the next day I didn't. Paychecks stopped showing up before that, yet somehow I didn't allow myself to see the writing on the wall until I got an email one morning from my former boss saying it was all over. I felt shocked, betrayed, and taken advantage of... especially because of the financial position I allowed myself to get into by that point while waiting on those paychecks to show up (somehow they kept getting "lost" in the mail before that).

I didn't know what to do, and the only thing I could think of was that I could do the same thing I had been doing but much better... and without becoming a (negative) small business statistic.

Fast forward (almost) 8 years, and Embellish Marketing is still going strong by the grace of God. This company was started from a place of survival, and it has blossomed into a business that empowers other women to lead businesses and brands of their own. Through this journey, I learned that God ALWAYS provides, so I am freed up to help other women level up and step into the place they were called to own.

I don't want to see another woman go through an experience like mine, so I bring the business and marketing strategy, listening ear, and pep talks to my client experiences so you KNOW you're not alone and that you'll come out the other side even stronger. It may not be easy, but the experience of building something great is worth it!
